- Does REHATRON™ alpha satisfy all legal requirements and has it received all the necessary approvals? Yes, REHATRON™ alpha has been approved throughout the European market. The device is manufactured according to VDE and the European guidelines for medical products, it is approved both technologically and medically for use within the scope of "Non-invasive induction therapy", and has been awarded CE mark 0483. REHATRON™ alpha has also received the European safety test and is patented. All companies involved in this procedure are ISO certified. Measures are being prepared or are already being implemented to obtain additional approvals for non-European countries that do not recognise the CE mark.
- Is it true that the effects of energy emissions from REHATRON™ alpha may be as harmful as mobile phones are suspected to be? No. Organic molecules do not resonate, and no thermal effects or kinetic frictional shifts take place at frequencies below 1 gigaHertz (= 1,000,000,000 Hertz). REHATRON™ alpha operatesat 220 kiloHertz (= 220,000 Hertz), and the oscillations decay in 100microseconds. There is therefore no risk for any human or animal organism.
- What contraindications exist for non-invasive induction therapy (NIIT) with REHATRON™ alpha?
Contraindications exist for: Pacemakers, pregnancy, defibrillators and annular metallic implants.
- Can REHATRON™ alpha also be used in the home? In theory, yes. But in order to ensure its medical efficacy and to prevent improper use, REHATRON™ alpha should only be operated in medical practices and hospitals by trained technicians. However, the purchase price would generally be too expensive for most private individuals, so the point would normally be moot.
- Have scientific studies been conducted on the effects of REHATRON™ alpha? Of course, REHATRON™ alpha was tested thoroughly by medical and engineering professionals before it was introduced on the market. A number of different studies are currently being conducted with REHATRON™ alpha, and more are in the preparatory phase. But since these studies take a great deal of time, official findings of the studies will not be published until the second quarter of 2006 at the earliest.
- Do health insurance companies accept the cost of treatment with REHATRON™ alpha? The compulsory health insurance companies do not accept these treatment costs, but most private funds may agree to make some contribution. You should discuss this with your treating physician or licensed non-medical practitioner.
- How many therapy units have to be conducted? This depends entirely on the nature and duration of the disease and on the individual organism. As a rule of thumb, for orthopaedic disorders for example, two treatment sessions are required for each year since the onset of the complaint. Some disorders can be corrected with just one session, others require 20.
- In what countries is REHATRON™ alpha already being used? REHATRON™ alpha is currently being used in Germany, Austria, Scandinavia, Spain and France.
- Is REHATRON™ alpha also being used in the USA? Not yet. The FDA approval process must be completed first.

- As a patient or relative of a patient, why am I not allowed to obtain more detailed information about REHATRON™ alpha on the Internet? Unfortunately, the German Law on the Advertising of Medicaments (HWG) applies here too. But, you are welcome to contact the professionals who use the device and are listed on our "Doctors and Hospitals" tab, or ask your doctor or licensed non-medical practitioner to request information about REHATRON™ alpha from us.
- Can treatment with REHATRON™ alpha be harmful? No, providing of course that the contraindications are strictly observed.
- What side-effects can I expect after treatment with REHATRON™ alpha? After many thousands of treatment sessions, the only "side-effect" reported by the vast majority of patients is an increased feeling of well-being. Some others (about 10%) feel slightly fatigued for a short while following treatment.
- Can REHATRON™ alpha also be used to treat my pet's ailments? Of course. Veterinarians in Austria who use REHATRON™ alpha have reported remarkable successes. Unfortunately, there are not yet any vets in Germany who work with REHATRON™ alpha, but we are doing everything possible to reach this segment with REHATRON™ alpha as well.
